The kids have been asking me to buy them this particular game console.  I have made a deal with them at the start of the school year that if they got good grades during the year, I would give it to them.  They did their part by really studying and excelling in all their academic activities.  I saw how serious they were in getting that console.  I knew that I was going to be in trouble if I did not keep my promise.  However, I was checking the family budget and I know that I simply could not accommodate the console unless we do not eat for a few days.  But I did not want to disappoint them so I checked my other option was to sell some of my stuff.  I rummaged through my things and the easiest way to get the money was to sell jewelry.
