Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I do appreciate the subtle kind of beauty. When I saw the architectural metal canopies on the different structures around the city, I was very impressed.  The designs are really dazzling during the day and sometimes more spectacular during the night. My own bed has a canopy and it really adds ambience in my room.

It makes me feel like a princess and although I am old enough for such fantasies, I can’t help but grin at the thought. Canopies can really give that extra sense of style, no matter where you use them. I also like paintings and I like to visit museums just to view them. Sometimes, I try to paint but I have no talent for painting. I just make random scribbles and I call them abstract art (an excuse really). I am still not able to find the person that will share my passion and perhaps a future together. I wish that I will be able to meet him soon. Going out on dates and going to the places where we share the same interests.

I had a painful divorce.  My husband was just too difficult to deal with after we lost our only child after an accident on the road.  He was driving Jack for school that day and he collided with a truck that was drove by a drunk driver. Since my son hadn’t securely put on his seat belt, he was thrown out of the car which cost his life. That was the saddest.  That was two years ago and my husband had difficulty on coping, he neglected work, he went on drinking spree everyday and he even slept with different women.  It was too difficult to take so I decided to get a divorce and ask him to seek professional help.

To get by, I had to sell everything; I don’t want to be reminded f the pains of my family. I also resorted to selling silver accessories that my husband gave me. The funds were used to have him treated for an alcohol rehab and counseling. I didn’t have a choice but sell silver to pay up for all the professional help he is going to need. Now, I wouldn’t say that I have regrets on doing that because it was for the better.
